Property management tenant screening is slightly different in that we can credential the property manager through what’s called an onsite inspection.
This allows us to give direct access to credit reports and other data that the FCRA would not typically allow due to privacy and security standards.
Requirements with Property Management Tenant Screening
You do not have to be a property manager in order to sign up for one of our corporate accounts. However, property managers tend to qualify more frequently than landlords do.
You do need the following:
- 50 or more rental units in your portfolio
- Company stationery and signage
- A business office in a commercial setting
If you have a home office it is possible to pass an onsite inspection but you’ll need your office to have a separate entryway and security measures in place.
